The forest

Sean looked behind him and back at Clairre Now! He barked and lept forward, chasing the deer the opposite way.

Leaps from a bush near the fawn, her legs moved in a blur as she propelled herself forward. She moved faster then turned swiftly and ran straight at the deer, her lips drawn back in a snarl.

Sean pumped his legs harder, as he saw the fawn about to turn the other direction, he quickly closed the space between him and the fawn then leaped on its back, biting the back of its neck.

Clairre worked her legs hard against the ground as Sean leapt onto the fawn. Leaping when she was close to it, she sunk her fangs into the fawns throat.

As he felt the fawn slowly collapse under him, he lept off, and bit into its belly, tearing warm flesh from the fawn with a hungry look in his eyes.

Clairre held onto the fawns throat for a bit longer, before creeping over and taking a bite from the fawn followed by another and another.

He liked his lips, then tore into the fawn once more. Nice catch, haven't seen anyone hunt like that in ages. He added, turning his crimson red muzzle to face her.

She continued to eat and twitched an ear towards him,Thanks I can't remember the last time someone actually worked with me in a hunt.

He chuckled then stretched once more. I'll be heading back to school now, it's will be ending in a few moments, and I'd like to make sure no one touchs my car. He began to walk through the trees once more, raising his head up, then pausing for a moment before speeding across the forest clearing.

She rubbed her muzzle with a paw, then sped after him,Do you think we missed lunch? She asked as she sped past him.

Most likely He responded calmly, keeping his eyes straight ahead. If you're a suck up, I suppose Efron would be most unhappy with you. He said with a teasing tone.

She snorted and butted his shoulder with her head,I don't care what Efron thinks, it's not like I've ever made him happy anyway. She said, chuckling to herself.

He laughed but the stopped, thinking of his packmate. I wish that was true for everyone. He said, stopping himself before saying anything else.

She looked at him curiously,What do you mean? She asked, sensing that he meant more than what he said.

He kept his gaze trained on the forest ahead, slowing his pace. You don't know? He asked, skidding to a stop and turning to her.

She stopped also and tilted her head,Know what?... She asked, suddenly unsure if she even wanted to know.

Efron taunts the human girls, instead of messing around with the Guardian girls. He choked on the words, but tried to hide the uncomfortable look on his face Lumine and the other Keepers had a problem about the way he was messing with their packs, so he turned his attention on mortals, and each time he is attracted to one, he orders the other Keepers to kidnap them and bring them to his office where he does what he pleases with them.. He looked away and up to the sky. Most of them just die.

Her hackles rose, and her jaw dropped slightly before she clamped it shut. She shifted into human form and walked on silently, her arms folded across her chest.

He shifted too and watched her walk away, he swiftly caught up to her, and pushed in front of her. "What are you going to do?" He narrowed his eyes at her and stuffed his hands in his pockets.

She looked up at him, her blue-green eyes flashing,"What do you think?"She asked, moving around him."I'm going to do nothing because I can't even try to do something."

He narrowed his eyes even more at her so they were only yellow slits. "Then why are you so damn pissed about it?" He grabbed her arm and pulled her in front of him. "You seem like you want to do something."

"Of course I want to do something!" She snapped, angrily. Then she dropped her head,"But I can't.."She said in a barely audible voice.

Sean blinked, surprised by her vulnerablility. "Look, they're merely humans and he most likely only turns them." He shuddered, the uncertainty clear in his voice.

She kept her head bowed,"You know that's not true, don't lie to me." She muttered, pulling her arm back.

He released her arm and kept walking ahead. "He's not taking young Guardians, its better this way. You should know that, Clairre. You are an alpha of a pack yourself, would you rather have humans you don't know taken, or your own packmates?" He said, his expression cold and harsh
